What’s for weird lunch?

And some hard eggs from the hole?rocks in sycamore 4666Rock eggs, that is.

We leave our weird lunch to visit a weird fellow–not a dragon but a preying mantis.maybe california preying mantis 4188This creature can stand upright, sideways, or upside down.  In this topsy-turvy world, he’s quite comfortable.

And a topsy-turvy world it is.   At least farther upstream in the upper park, beyond the sycamore trees. trail along gorge
